Hawker Centres

Developing and Managing Hawker Centres

Following the Government's announcement in October 2010 that 10 new hawker centres will be built in the next decade, 7 hawker centre sites have been confirmed in the following towns: Bt Panjang, Yishun, Pasir Ris, Jurong West, Woodlands, Punggol and Tampines.

Maintaining High Standards of Public Cleanliness

Public cleaning will now be under the new Department of Cleanliness (DPC) under NEA.

By 2016, public cleaning works will be subsumed under DPC's integrated cleaning contracts.

District Pneumatic Refuse Conveyance System (DPRCS)
