Recycling of Computers, Printers, Ink and Toner Cartridges and Related Equipment
1) Project Homecoming - Joint-Brand Ink & Toner Cartridge Recycling Initiative
Project Homecoming is Singapore's first joint printer brand ink and toner cartridge recycling initiative. It is led by Brother, Canon, Dell, Epson and Lexmark and is supported by the National Environment Agency (NEA) and the National Library Board (NLB).
The initiative aims to encourage the recycling of cartridges through the provision of easily accessible bins for the public. It further aims to raise community awareness around the importance of this effort, as well as recycling in general. Recycling reduces the amount of waste sent to our waste-to-energy plants and landfill. Resources that are recovered are used to make new products, thereby mitigating the need to extract virgin materials and its impacts.
Project Homecoming recycling bins accept ink and toner cartridges of any & every brand for recycling.
