Criteria for SOK Pre-School
· Comply with hygiene measures prescribed by MCYS (for preschools) and MOE (for kindergartens).
· Have a programme to teach the children good toilet and personal hygiene practices.
· Have a programme to clean/disinfect the premises, including toys and mattresses.
· Have an effective programme for pest control checks.
· Have a system in place to ensure hygienic food preparation.
· Have a proper system for the storage and disposal of waste.
· Ensure toilets meet the following requirements :
- All sanitary pipes/fittings are in good working condition
- Adequate provision of soap and toilet paper
- Provision of a working hand dryer or paper towel
- Provision of a litter bin
