This year's Schools Carnival features outstanding and innovative environmental projects/games done by students in partnership with their mentoring companies under the Adopt-A-School Scheme. Your visiting teachers and students will gain ideas on how to improve the school?s recycling corner from the winners of the 3R Award - Waste Recycling Competition, take part in a fun Enviro-Challenge maze, games and competitions and watch and participate in exciting stage performances including the finalists of the Cheer & Dance Competition! There will also be artwork and sculptures done by students who shared their love for their environment through the National Art Competition and the aRRRt From Urban Waste sculpture competition. Also hear from student Environmental Ambassadors who will share their learning experiences from their overseas programmes.

Clean & Green Week 2004
Activities for Schools 

Soon, the annual Clean and Green Week will be upon us again. It is an occasion to remind all of us to appreciate and care for our environment. The National Environment Agency (NEA) will be organising CGW 2004 starting from Saturday, 6 November. Many activities for the community will be held throughout the month of November 2004.

The theme for this year's campaign is `Environmental Ownership'. Key environmental messages such as clean air, clean water, clean land and a high standard of public health will be reiterated to all. The CGW campaign seeks personal and community commitment and responsibility to care for the environment.
