REVIEW 1 - 14 March 2010
During the first two weeks of March 2010, Singapore experienced more rainfall and cooler temperatures as compared to February 2010. The several days of mostly afternoon showers helped to bring some respite to the dry and warm February 2010 weather conditions.
During this review period, about two-thirds of Singapore experienced below average rainfall. The highest rainf
all of 125mm to 140mm (50% to 70% above average) was recorded in the central parts of Singapore around Pierce Reservoir. Rainfall was lowest i
n the eastern parts of the island around Tampines where 25mm to 40mm (50% to 70% below average) was recorded.
