The Ministry of the Environment (ENV) and the Housing & Development Board (HDB) are tendering out 97 vacant market-produce stalls in an ENV and 26 HDB markets and 33 cooked-food stalls in 4 ENV and 2 HDB food centres for rental to the public.

3. The stalls offered include 14 cooked-food stalls and 3 outdoor kiosks at the Maxwell Road Food Centre which has just undergone major upgrading. Amongst the cooked-food stalls is one with a size of 18 square metres which is suitable for the sale of restaurant type of food. The 3 outdoor kiosks are suitable for the sale of ice cream, tit-bits, drinks and piece & sundry goods.
