Endorsement of Inward/Outward Declarations
Under the EPMA, all imports of Hazardous Substances must be approved by PCD via Auto TradeNet. PCD will approve the import/export only if the importer/exporter has a valid hazardous substances License and Transport Approval. The following supporting documents shall be faxed to PCD for verification when required:
* Cargo Clearance Permit
* Certification of Import
* Transport Approval
* Hazardous Substances Licence
Certification of Import/Export (COI)
The COI shall be under the importer/exporter's company letterhead
The COI shall be signed by the importer before it is faxed.
The importer/exporter's unique reference number and telephone number shall be written at the top right-hand corner of the COI.
Hazardous Substances Licence (HSL) & Transport Approval (TA)
The importer/exporter shall ensure that his HSL and TA are both valid.
The item being imported/exported shall be underlined on the HSL and TA.
The item name that is keyed into the TradeNet system shall be exactly the same as the item name that is stated on the HSL and TA.
The importer/exporter's unique reference number and telephone number shall be written at the top right-hand corner of the HSL and TA.
