NEA-MediaCorp Semakau Run 2009
The NEA-MediaCorp Semakau Run 2009 is the third charity run to be held on Semakau Landfill. Presenting a unique opportunity for organizational representatives to do their bit for charity while excercising on an offshore landfill, the Run has benefited both the participants and the beneficiaries since its inception.
This year, the NEA is partnering MediaCorp to organise the Run. The donations received will go towards supporting both environmental causes and social service charities. The beneficiaries include:
- Singapore Environment Council
- Restroom Association of Singapore
- Singapore Institute of International Affairs Haze Programme
- HCA Hospice Care
- Rainbow Centre - Yishun Park School
- NTUC U Care Fund
